Privacy Notice – Draft Protocols Registration form

This privacy notice tells you about the information we collect when you Register to download the draft protocols part of the International Standards for the Assessment of Cocoa Quality and Flavour, accessible at the following URL: http://www.cocoaqualitystandards.org/protocols-for-review/registration  .

In collecting this information, we act as a data controller and, by law, we are required to provide you with information about us, why and how we use your data, and the rights you have over your data.

We are not required to have a data protection officer, so any enquiries about our use of your personal data should be addressed to the contact details above.

What personal data do we collect?

When you submit the registration form when you download the draft protocols, we ask you for the following information: Your name, Organization/Affiliation, Country and Email

Why do we collect this information?

We use the information to have a good understanding of the stakeholders interested in these protocols to involve in their further development.  We will have a database of people and organizations/affiliations in the cocoa community to contact for Cocoa Quality Standard related matters and information.

We ask for your consent to do this, and we will only send you our information as long as you continue to consent. 

What do we do with your information?

Your information is stored on our website database which is hosted in Europe 

How long do we keep your information?

Your information is kept for as long as you continue to consent.
 

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask what information we hold about you and to correct it if it is inaccurate. If we asked for your consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time.  

You can request to have your information updated or removed by submitting a request regarding your personal data by email or post using the contact information provided above in the Who Are We section of this policy.
